What are the different styles of homes?

Here is the question. What are the different styles of homes?

Are all Victorians in the Queen Anne style (painted ladies)?
No, sometimes it is easier to view Victorians as high style (lots of detail)
or low style or low style (simple details)?

Bungalows, now what is a bungalow - A Chicago bungalow versus a California bungalow?

Colonials this style brings many different images to mind.

Every client I meet views the style of these buildings differently. So until a common vernacular is established, and I have an understanding of what they are thinking I can’t really begin mbussarchitects.com
